Bye 2008! Hello 2009!

Yes, today is the last day of 2008 and I'm am counting down to year 2009 together with Mummy and Daddy at HOME.. together with our good old TV. May year 2009 brings me lots of fun and joy!

Moving Trees

I just discovered something interesting today. I've developed a fondness of moving trees. Oh it's like this, recently I've been taking a lot of car rides to "Ah Ma" house and back home and i chanced upon the trees moving by outside daddy's windscreen. Now that my eyes are growing stronger by the day, i can see better and farther. They are so interesting to watch at.They just calm me down. I hate red traffic lights though cos they made the trees stop moving. Hate it!

Christmas Party Part II

I finally had my first taste of Christmas. On Christmas eve, we went to Daddy and Mummy's friend place for a buffet dinner and gift exchange. I saw so many Uncles and Aunties and they love playing with me. I was so well behaved initially but as the night goes on... my patience weaned. I cried so hard and loud for a really long time. I guessed i am too tired and the noises are making me irritable. When mummy could not calm me down, she decided to bring me home and her Christmas celebration got to come to an early end because of me. I promise this will never happen again and hope mummy would not ban me from future Christmas celebrations. I will have a better Christmas next year!

As busy as a Bee

Phew! I'm on a pretty packed schedule today. Did a number of visits to Daddy's relatives' house. I was really excited and happy. I actually smile so much that mummy was so surprised as i never smile so readily before. Ya ya ya, mummy always say i try to act cool. Early afternoon we first paid a visit to "Gu Po" house at CCK. It was a short visit as "Gu Po" is going out soon to visit an old folks home. "Gu Po" gave me a Christmas present. Not really sure what it is cos mummy will only open the present for me on boxing day! Next, we went to visit my great grandparents at Teck Whye. Great grandma is so delighted to see me. I'm felt so comfortable when she carried me.. After that we went to "jiu gong" shophouse in Bukit Batok. It felt like a rehearsal to the coming CNY cos i also received angpows from them since it was the first time i visited their house. After the visits, we went to grandma's house for dinner. Auntie Jacqueline and Uncle Lawrence later popped by our place just to pass Christmas presents to mummy and me. Christmas is so wonderful, i get to receive so many presents. Oh ya "Thank You Auntie Jacqueline for your pressie!"

The new mall in town

It's so nice having daddy around, cos he can drive me around and go "Gai Gai". There a new mall opening today in Sembawang. It's call the SCC (Sembawang Shopping Centre). We went walk walk around but the mall only has abt 40% of shops opened. The mall is going to have a splash area for kids like me in Feb next yr. Hooray, then i will be 4 mths plus, probably mummy can bring me there with cousins Caris & Chloe. Mummy had Japanese ice cream at MOF. It sure looked delicious and it's making me drool... and she was eating it right above me. In the evening Daddy & Mummy dined out at Ashton Specialties, the lights in there are so fascinating that i can't keep my eyes off them. Daddy had a hard time making me drink my milk cos my little head was turning around so much. I just couldn't concentrate on drinking my milk with the lights & crowd in there.

Milk is Back!

Milk Milk is finally back home after 3 long months. I somehow find milk milk kind of familiar even before i see him. Well cos when i was in mummy's tummy, i could hear his barks when the Macdonalds delivery guy delivered food to our neighbour. Sometimes i also hear mummy scolding milk milk for being naughty. Well i guess milk milk also finds me familiar cos he could smell me while i was in mummy's tummy. Anyway, we finally met today. Milk Milk is so curious around me, he kept pacing around my rocker to get a better view of me but mummy prevented him from getting too close to me, just in case. Luckily we bonded pretty well and fast. He would watch me from a slight distance away and would not disturb me while i sleep. However my cries for milk is so loud that i think he is afraid of me. Ha Ha. He followed mummy around when she prepares my milk. Now i have a new guard dog when i sleep. Check it out! Oh ya, Mummy's friends Auntie Sharon and Uncle Nelson came to visit me today. Thank you auntie Sharon for your Christmas Present, i love the clothes you've got me.

Christmas Party Part 1

Christmas is coming! Yeah! Today i went to daddy's company to attend their Christmas party. Mummy dressed me up in a skirt, ha ha first time wearing skirt, feel kind of funny. Daddy say i look cuter in a one piece suit. There are so many people at daddy's office. It was really noisy. So many jie jies and kor kors running around with their sculptured balloons and watching magic show but i too young to understand so mummy didn't bring me to watch. Daddy's colleagues finally see me with my eyes open big big today. Ha ha, they were waiting for me to open my eyes during my full month party but i was really tired that i slept thru my party. I did open my eyes what. Right after all the guests have left. Kekeke.... Naughty me right? After lunch, we went for the lucky draw. Daddy so lousy, never win any prize. Thought i could get some presents with the vouchers from the lucky draw. Hmm..well i guess i didn't bring enough luck to daddy. Ha ha. Now i'm looking forward to another Christmas party on the eve of Christmas. Going to daddy & mummy's friend's house. Christmas is so fun! "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells , Jingle all the way..............."

Splashing Good Time

I love having baths. I always look forward to it as it's so much fun but there's one condition, i must not be hungry at the same time i'm having my bath. Mummy knows better now since she has tried out on me before. I proved to her i've got the strongest lungs around and wailed extremely loud that my neighbours can hear me. Of course i will kick really hard in the bath water and it is not possible for mummy to stay dry... hehe.. The good thing about having baths is that it make me smell real nice and i will feel so refreshed and clean after that. Mummy say i'm still too young to have bubbles bath though so i do hope i grow up real soon. Check out the pics that daddy took while i was having a splashing good time!

My new caregiver

Yippee! i've gotten another new playmate. Yes, it's daddy! He is on long leave since yesterday and he's going to accompany me for the next 3 weeks or so. Daddy took photos of me and Eddie the elephant after my bath today. I was feeling so refreshed and in a jolly mood that i "guai guai" relax on my mattress for daddy to take photos. Daddy looked after me while mummy kept herself busy with her household chores. I wondered why she always got so many things to do? Can't she just stay still and keep me company? Luckily daddy is around so i'm not going to complain too much. We stayed home most of today and only went to "Ah Ma" house during dinner time. After dinner daddy and mummy went shop shop at northpoint without me. Hump... so i just stay at "Ah Ma" house and "Gu Po" came to play with me. I'm back home now and feeling so cranky, i kept crying and don't know why. I'm going to ask for my milk now... and go to sleep fast so i can stop all my nonsense.

Trip to Vivo

Today i tagged along with daddy and mummy to Vivo City. This is my 2nd time shopping there. The first time i was there, i was hardly awake and missed out on so many interesting things to see. This time round, i told myself i got to stay awake and enjoy my ride in my pretty pinky stroller. From my stroller i got to watch the beautiful lightings all around the mall and listened to music played in the shops. But those bright lights do make my eyes really tired and i couldn't keep my pretty little peepers open for too long. Mummy helped me to take pictures with a gigantic christmas tree. That's the biggest tree i ever seen in my life.. hee. hmm i only 2 mths now i will definitely get to see more big trees in future. I pray that daddy will bring me to see real christmas trees with snow.. and i wanna see Santa. We went shopping for Cousin Caris and Chloe' christmas presents at ToysRUs and mummy wanted to get some toys for me as well. I'm not that sure if i can enjoy the toys at this stage cos my hands are still not strong enough to lift up the toys. Anyway mummy bought me a purple elephant which will make noises if i tug at it's limbs and a cooling puppy teether which i assume will help me a lot when i start growing my first tooth. Daddy later brought us to a Japanese restaurant for lunch and ordered lots of food for mummy to make her real happy. He said mummy loves good food and is very difficult to maintain. He also mentioned that I'm like mummy, i wondered what that means.. After lunch, we shopped around the mall and mummy acted like it was her first time out shopping. She was so excited and practically visited all the fashion shops. Luckily mummy managed to get her stuffs, if not i think we will spend the entire day at the mall until she get something. Daddy and me were cool, we are just there to accompany mummy and it's really OK if we never get any stuffs for ourselves.

My First Blog Entry

Hooray! Finally got mummy to set up my very own blog today. It's a really wet day. It was so cool that i slept till 10 plus, didn't even want to wake up if not for the growling noises coming out from my tummy. Anyway, mummy made me some milk before i slipped into dreamland again.
Mummy couldn't control her mj craving, once daddy gave her the green light she immediately gathered 3rd ah yi Jolynn , 3rd yi zhang Clarence and cousin lawrence to our house for a game. Never see her so efficient in organising a gathering before. When mummy was busy with her game, i was left under the care of daddy. I'm so used to mummy taking care of me cos she always know what i want. Hmmm... i think i going to test daddy patience today and see if he is going to be as good as mummy. Sad to say, i tried all ways to get daddy to feed me milk and play with me but he dun always get my signals that i felt so frustrated and became a little too cranky... i cried so hard that i can hardly breathe, this works cos daddy finally hand me over to mummy! I missed her and i want to be with mummy. Mummy can't stop her game halfway so she put me in a sling and continued. All those movements that she made when she reaches for her tiles and back are so fun, it managed to rock me to sleep. Daddy later drove us to Vittles for dinner. I'm still too young for adult food so i just have my milk before we left the house. Woohoo.. overheard mummy asking daddy to go shopping at Vivo City tomorrow. I think it's their 11th year anniversary since they first started dating. Aiyah, not important lah, most importantly is that daddy & mummy will bring me shopping tomorrow!
