My Birthday

16th Oct was my birthday. As i have celebrated my birthday in advance, there wasn't much things to do on the actual day itself. Mummy initially planned a trip to the zoo with Denise Yi Yi but the plan was shelved to another day. Mummy planned to bring me out shopping but had no idea where to go.
Thus, mummy rang up Da Yi who was getting ready to go to JB for grocery shopping. Luckily we called Da Yi in time and we tagged along with Da Yi's family to JB for shopping. We had lunch at a coffee shop in JB. The wanton mee was good and i finished up the noodles really fast. After lunch we headed to Tesco. We did some grocery shopping and then went to do some art and craft. There was this ready mould of a picture whereby we will pour some coloured liquids in it. After we are done with the colours, the mould will be heated up and then cooled to become a piece of coloured plastic that can be pasted onto glass surfaces. The last time i visited the same place, mummy chose a hello kitty picture for me. This time round, mummy chose snoopy. After that we went for some kiddy rides followed by some fun at the children's play area.
Time flies and we had spent almost 6 hours in JB. Then we decided to head back. On the way back, we stopped by for some street snacks called "Lok lok". I liked the fish balls very much and it helped to fill up my little tummy. I had fun with Caris and Chloe's company.

Potty Ready?

As usual, i couldn't sleep if i have not move my bowels for the day. It's already 11 plus at night and i was still pretty much awake though i had a very long day and was feeling grouchy from fatigue. Understanding that i have such a problem, mummy brought out my fisherprice froggy potty and tried to encourage me to poo poo in it. She sat beside me and within minutes, i pooped into my potty. Mummy was so happy as she didn't know i was actually quite ready for potty training now. After my first successful attempt in using the potty, i kept telling mummy i want to wee wee and was feeling extremely proud of my little achievement.

Batam Trip 2nd-3rd Oct

First Stop : Ferry tickets collection at level 3 at Harbour Front. BatamFast (Ocean Raider). Waiting for mummy to collect the ferry tickets.

Waiting for the arrival of Ocean Raider. Feeling very excited and happy.
Still happily taking pictures with Da Yi, Caris and Chloe while waiting for the ferry.
Deja Vu? Looks familiar? Looks like the photos that we took at Genting First World hotel. The 3 of us were running along the aisle.
At Dino Kids Club. Having a go at the swing.
Interior of the Kids Club.
Having a fun time colouring. So many colour pencils to choose from.
Me doing a funny face which i picked up from Chloe. Uncle Darren taught Chloe that.
Relaxing swim at the pool. I love swimming!
Back at our room 224. Getting ready to go to bed.

The Batam, Indonesia trip was my 3rd overseas trip and this time we travelled with a bigger group. Da Yi and family, Uncle Mark, Uncle Darren, Geraldine and Nicole Yi Yi. It was only a very short trip and we stayed 1 night at Harris Resort. We boarded the ferry to Batam at 12.10pm and the journey took us 30 minutes. We reached sekupang ferry terminal and took a cab over to Harris Resort. (We bought ferry tickets to Sekupang but actually the waterfront terminal is nearer to Harris Resort)
Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted with friendly staffs offering us cold towel and popcorn. After checking in, we took a short rest before venturing out to check out the resort. We went to Dino Kids Club as they were holding a flower making class. Only caris was "old" enough to participate so Chloe and me went to play on the swings and slides. After spending some time at the kids club, we went swimming at the pool. I was nursing a cold and thus mummy did not allow me to stay too long in the waters. We headed back to our room for a shower while waiting for the rest to get ready to go out for dinner. We took a hr ride for seafood dinner but i can't recall the actual name of the place.
I had a very nice sleep at the resort and i couldn't bear to wake up in the morning. When mummy carried me out of the room for breakfast, i was still sleeping. I went for breakfast in my pyjamas. After breakfast, we took a short stroll at the tiny beach and went swimming

Daddy's 30th Bday & Children's Day 2010

Mickey Mouse Colouring Pad from my teacher at Kindercom Educare.
A little present for daddy. Completed with mummy's help.

It's Children's Day! Happy Children's day to all the little children in the world. I had a early celebration in school on Thursday. Teacher Amy made a handmade name tag for each of her students. It was really sweet of teacher Amy to spend so much time doing the name tag for us. I also received a stick of mentos sweets and a big mickey mouse colouring pad from the teachers in school.
Thursday, 30th Sept happened to be Daddy's birthday. So after mummy dropped me of at school, she went to Pine Garden in Ang Mo kio to pass the cake toppers for my cake with the baker and bought a black forest chocolate cake for daddy. After Daddy and mummy came to pick me up at school, we went to Sakae Sushi to have lunch. I wolfed down the entire cup of chanwanmushi. That's my favourite and i also had some sushi and udon. Then my parents left me with grandma and they continued with their plans to celebrate daddy's birthday with a movie and dinner at Ippudo at Mandarin Galleria.
I had a busy Sept and coming october, exciting plans are already lined up. I will be going to Batam over the weekend with my parents and their friends. Then next will be my birthday party and a relative's wedding celebration. Stay tuned and i shall update till then.
