New Stuffs i learned to do

After sticking to mummy 24/7 during our 5 days trip to Phuket she realized i have grown up a lot. I have done a lot of funny and silly actions and said a lot of stuffs she didn't know i was capable of. And of course my "xiao jie pi qi" also got more prominent.

1. During shopping, i will walk several steps and then kneel down before standing up and repeating the whole process again and again.
2. Mummy frequently apply sunscreen for me before swimming and i start mimicking her actions. I will pretend to pour some lotion on my palm and then dab with my finger and applying onto my face.
3. I scream and cry to get the things i want - in my way! I fake crying a lot.
4. I can turn on the you tube application on mummy's iphone and play my favorite Mickey Mouse Hotdog song and some of my favorite hits.
5. I can walk and i mean i can really walk a lot during shopping.
6. I know how to shop, i go into a shop and start looking at the items displayed and occasionally picking up the merchandise to feel them.
7. I tell mummy to "bao" (carry me), "xia"(let me down), "wo yao" (i want), hot, see,bye, etc.
8. I am learning to sing along with my favorite tunes like ABC song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars.

My First Trip - Phuket

I went on my first trip to Phuket Thailand on 14th May to 18th May 2010 to celebrate mummy's 30th birthday. Daddy paid for the trip as mummy's birthday present. We left for the airport at 10am on 14th may. Our flight was scheduled at 1pm but we left earlier to have lunch there and checked in early. Mummy latched me on while the plane was moving on the runway to help reduce the pressure on my ears when the plane takes off. Before the plane got up into the sky, i was already asleep. Mummy was relieved to see me sleeping soundly for the next 1 hour plus. The entire flight took 1 hr and 50 mins and when i woke up, mummy quickly stuffed me with my stickers n sticker book to keep me occupied. I was so busy with the stickers and didn't gave mummy any trouble. Upon reaching phuket, we still need to take a 45mins ride to our hotel at Millennium Patong Resort. Once when we checked into the hotel(3pm local time), i was so happy and started exploring the hotel room. Mummy can sense my happiness and i was so relax and looked set on enjoying my holiday. Before going for our dinner at Fuji Japanese Restaurant, i took a long nap. Then we went shopping at Jungceylon shopping mall and the nearby night market. It rained shortly and we went back to the hotel.
On the second day we went to explore the nearby malls and shops. Most of the time, we relaxed in our room and went swimming in the late afternoon. On the 3rd day which is mummy's birthday, we planned a half day tour to elephant trekking, watch monkey show, elephant show and snake show. Then we went to the Cashew Nut factory and also to Wat Chalong temple before ending the day at Phromthep Cape to watch the sunset. I slept throughout the first and last activities of the tour. I didn't realize i ride on an elephant as i slept soundly through the bumpy ride. I only woke up after we stepped off the elephant's back. The weather was really hot and i didn't like to perspire. After the tour we had a rest at the hotel before going to Savoey Restaurant for dinner. On the fourth day, we went to the premium outlet for some shopping. There are many shops there but their stuffs wasn't really cheap and daddy only bought a shirt for himself and a mini soccer ball for me. After that we headed back to the hotel for a swim again and some last minute shopping before we fly back on 18th May.
We woke up real early at 7am on tues, our flight was 10am and we checked out of the hotel 8am. I was very tired as didn't sleep enough and got a bit cranky on the flight back. I fussed for a while and slept a little on the flight. To sum it up, i did enjoy my trip and had fun shopping and some sight seeing. I guessed mummy was the most tired person during the trip because she has to practically run after me most of the time. She carried me along for most of the time as i was being too proud to allow daddy to carry me. Nevertheless, i wish mummy a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I love you and daddy!

Attack of the flu bugs

It was mummy's 2nd Mother's Day yesterday. However i haven't learn to speak well enough to wish her a happy mother's day nor have i master the skill of painting a mother's day card for her. I know the greatest present to mummy is for me to be healthy and happy. Sad to speak, i fell sick with the flu bug yesterday. My nose was runny and leaking like a tap. I kept sneezing the whole day. "Ah Choo..... Ah Choo.... excuse me."
There were some flu like symptoms earlier but somehow mummy managed to keep it under control by applying baby vicks on me. It only got serious yesterday. Luckily i was still feeling well enough to sleep last night. This morning, mummy brought me to see the pd at Kidslink. I need to get well soon for my trip to Phuket this friday. I was extremely active at the clinic. I was busy playing in the little kitchen and dragging stuffs around the clinic. The doc told mummy i should be fine to travel this friday. Ok i shall take my medicine religiously so i will get well before my trip. Flu bugs, please get far away from me!

Uncle Shuen's Wedding

Yesterday was Uncle Shuen's customary wedding. I went over to Grandma's house at around 9.30am. I was so surprised to see so many relatives and friends at Grandma's place and felt a little shy initially. However after a while, i was more warmed up and began to mingle with the guests. It was a pity that i wasn't in a very cheerful mood. I blamed it on lack of sleep and the beginning of a flu bug attack. I wasn't as active and happy as usual. Just when the pretty bride and handsome groom arrived to take some family photos, the "Z" monster crept in on me. I took several shots before succumbing to the "Z" monster. Then i was knocked out for a good 1.5hrs. After my nap, i took my milk before going back home to rest and recharge my battery a little to prepare for the long night.
Mummy made me nap again at 4pm and her make up artist came at around 5.15pm. Mummy was having her make up done while i was snoozing next to her on the bed. I woke up at around 5.45pm but i lazed in bed watching mummy being dolled up. After mummy was done, she dressed me up and we left for Orchid Country Club. It was such a hectic day, i had my early dinner in the car while daddy was driving us to the country club. I was enjoying the chawanmushi and steamed rice that mummy made for me and i managed to finish up my meal just before reaching our destination.
The reception area was quite roomy and i had a lot of fun running around and taking pictures. Daddy was keeping a watchful eye over me while mummy manned the reception with Gu Gu. I played with some little children and was so happy. There was a lot of places for me to run around and some relatives took turns to carry me. I was kept very busy the entire night. Back at the Bridal table, i took some shark fin soup, chicken and scallops. I had a little snack that mummy bought along for me as well. I really enjoyed myself and i wished Uncle Shuen and Jiamin Shen Shen a very blissful marriage!

Wiggles Kids

Recently mummy has been pretty busy attending some courses. So most days are spent at grandma's place. However on monday, i was at PoPo's house while Da Yi and mummy went for their facial appointments. I really love company and was happy to play with Chloe. Sadly, Caris was enjoying herself at downtown east and wasn't home till evening time. When she was back, she turned on to her favourite Wiggles DVD and in no time, we were singing and dancing to the music. I kinda love Wiggles too cos they always sing happy songs. I can co-ordinate my arms and legs movements better and i can really grooved to the music. Wakakaka. Mummy also downloaded some wiggles clips from Youtube onto her iphone so i can watch Wiggles any time i want to.
