My Saturday

Today mummy went to Philips Customer Care Centre to repair her pump again. This is the 2nd time the pump gave her problem. Daddy say most likely it's due to user problem not product problem. I agreed with daddy cos mummy can be quite careless and rough in handling those gadget stuffs. After daddy came back from work, we went to Bedok Community Centre to attend his colleague's daughter full month party. It was a long ride to and fro but i slept well especially in the car seat. I was unfazed by the washing sounds when daddy drove the car for a good wash, guess u know how tired i was. After that we went to attend a BBQ gathering with daddy and mummy friends. It is so hot and stuffy in the stroller and the bbq smoke made me feel so warm... I felt real sleepy after my feed and to make matter worse, mummy forgot to bring along my pacifier. I can't go to sleep without my precious pacifier. Mummy decided to bring me home earlier as she knows i am capable in tearing the whole house down with my cries.

Chloe's 1st Birthday

Chloe Jie Jie is turning 1 year on 19th Feb. She shares the same birthday as Auntie Jacqueline and Sophie Jie Jie. We had an early celebration on Saturday. I could only watch while Caris helped Chloe blew out the candle and the adults helping themselves to the pizzas, KFC chickens, desserts and the mouth watering ice cream cake from Angie the choice. Mummy bought the cake for Chloe, i'm going to ask mummy to buy me one as well on my 1st birthday. I want to invite all my little friends and have a great birthday celebration!

Oily Chicken Drumstick

Yippee, I am 4 months old today according to the lunar calendar. Yesterday daddy bought me a big roasted chicken drumstick to eat, i mean lick. Hehe. The drumstick was too big and oily for me. Grandma tried to put it to my mouth but i refused to open my mouth. Guess it was too alien to me, i still could not accept it. Mummy then took over and put it to my mouth again. After some hesitation, i gave it a lick and then a few licks. Tasted weird! The eating of the drumstick at 4 months was done according to chinese tradition. Think it is to signify the beginning to eat meat. My mouth was so oily after that, i hope it does not cause a major pimple outbreak on me.

My latest stunts!

It's been a great week. I've been learning lots of new stunts to perform in front of mummy and amazed her big time. First, i learned to wriggle backwards by kicking my feet and pushing my body backwards. Once Mummy left me in the cot for her shower, when she's back she found my head against the cot's fencing and my hand was almost caught in between the fencing. That's really gave her a rude shock. I guess her options are: 1) not bathe until daddy's back 2) bathe within 60 seconds 3) get milk milk to watch over me 4) lay out the protectors in the cot. Mummy chose option 4. Secondly, i can do a few good chuckles. Last sunday i went to Popo's house and played with Caris and Chloe. Mummy let me try out Chloe's mini scooter while Popo amused me. I let out several loud chuckles which made mummy so proud of me. She has never see me laugh so loud before. She quickly shouted for Da Yi to watched me in action. Thirdly, I have also been secretly learning to flip but was unsuccessful. I got to master the flip before i will show it off to mummy of my new achievement. Shall update again if i got more new stunts. Stay tuned.

Mummies & Babies

Hey, i had a fun day today! Mummy brought me to Vivo City to meet up with other mummies and babies from her SingaporeMotherhood forum thread. Imagine seeing 16 mummies and 7 babies at WhiteDog Cafe. Impressive huh? Initially mummy was having second thoughts about bringing me there because she was afraid that i might have one of those terrible cranky moments and she won't be able to handle me on her own. Luckily guilt overcame her and she decided to bring me along. I thought she was really brave to bring me out on her own, lugging a huge bag with all my barang barangs, another bag for my delicious mummy milk and having me strapped up in a sling on the other shoulder. There are so many cute brothers and sisters and i am the oldest over there... wahahaha, that made me a big sister! I should give myself a pat on the shoulder cos i think i'm very well behaved and didn't give mummy any trouble. I was curiously looking around at the mummies when they were talking excitedly for about 20 mins, had my milk and i was knocked out for 2.5 solid hours. Mummy rewarded me for my good behavior, she bought me a musical pull toy.
I am so happy and i am definitely looking forward for more of such outings.
