Self weaning?

Woohoo, mummy was over the moon when i finally attempted to fall asleep without nursing.
I have been nursing to lalaland since i was about 7-8 months old till now.
Over the past 1-2 weeks i have been on a sudden growth spurt, requesting formula milk like 2-3 times in 2 hours. Mummy will make me 100ml of FM, followed by 60ml of FM and another 60ml of FM all in 2 hours or so. I usually can't even finish 120ml of FM, leaving about 40ml behind. So mummy was excited to see this sudden change and anticipating some changes in my usual sleeping routine. Well, mummy attempted to put me in bed at 10.45pm but i was like an energiser bunny and was role playing and playing games with myself. Soon it was 11pm then close to midnight. I started to rub my eyes and asked mummy for some FM. Mummy made a bottle for me and i quietly laid on my mattress and finished the milk.
I tossed and turned for another 15 minutes before i drifted off to sleep. I hope this brings some consolation to mummy that i am learning to wean myself off mummy's milk. I know she is keeping both her fingers and toes crossed that this is really going to be the end of her breastfeeding journey.

Time flies and 2 weeks passed so swiftly. Serene Yi yi and uncle Chia Ren came to fetch milk milk back home on 26th Dec. Though the time i spent with milk milk wasn't long but i have developed a good relationship with him.
Mummy did mention to me several times that milk milk is going home and each time i answered cannot. I was reluctant to let milk milk go. I am used to having milk milk in the house and bringing him down for a walk everyday. And the times where i pretended to reprimand milk milk saying "no fighting". I also like to bully him by pasting pooh bear stickers on his back and pushing him away. However the time came and separation is inevitable.
I cried very hard when Serene Yi Yi took the leash over from me and carried him away. I screamed and wailed... so sad. I cried so hard that caused me to vomit. Mummy had to coax me by giving me a bottle of yakult.
Well, i do hope mummy keep her promise to bring milk milk back here for an annual vacation.

Kaylia's 1st Birthday Party

After Sat pre christmas party with my friends, we went on to attend Kaylia's 1st birthday celebration in the evening. Auntie Adeline set up a coloring corner for the kids. Here's a picture of me focusing on my coloring.
This is Kaylia and she's the birthday girl. She is wearing a very nice tutu dress.
The theme for the party is Mickey Mouse and i was elated to see all the mickey stuffs. So happy!

Minnie mouse jelly and cake. Yum Yum! I really love cakes and can't wait to get near to see them. I kept screaming for mummy to bring me closer to the cake.

Pre Christmas Party with Nov 08 Mums & Babes

Mummy hosted a pre Christmas party for her Nov mummies friends and babes. It was a very nice gathering for all of us. Though initially i was reluctant to share my toys with the kids and screamed and cried. Soon i guessed i warmed up gradually and we played together.

Look at the slide behind us. I went on the slide with Auntie April 3 times and once with Mummy.
Mummy was initially a little afraid to go down the slide. It's not scary at all, it's fun.
The enchanted teapot which dispends coloured balls every hour from 7pm to 10 pm. The colour of the hour at 8pm was PINK and i happened to get a pink ball. I got to take a lucky dip and i got a silver ball. The prize was 2 sweets and 2 tokens to go on the bigger slide at T3.

I like to carry babies but why Kady look so scare here? I try to be gentle and not drop you okay?
