Super Wet Day at the Zoo

Hump...!!! It was raining the whole day at the Zoo. It was supposed to be a good trip cos i have good company like Zachary, Auntie E-Wen, Yu-Qi and Auntie Joyce and all of us have been looking forward to this trip. Mummy and i left the house all bright and sunny but when we reached the zoo at 10am the dark clouds were looming. Just after we cleared the entrance, it's started drizzling followed by slightly heavier rain. By the time we settled down at Ah Meng Cafe, it was POURING and for a long long time. While waiting for the rain to stop, we had snacks, played with our mummies' iphones, played with my new puzzle, teared up the paper serviette into shreds, ate lunch, fight over stuffs, screamed and perhaps day dreamed a little. When the rain got lighter, we decided to venture out as all of us are starting to get restless. We managed to see orange utans, zebras, giraffes, elephants and when we reached the kidz world the rain got heavier. We shopped in the souvenir shop while waiting for the rain to stop. Well, that didn't really happen though. The mummies then armed themselves with ponchos and umbrellas and off we go around the zoo. They were trying to make us nap in our strollers and slowly one by one, we fell asleep. Then we headed back to Ah Meng Cafe. The mummies were chatting when we napped for 1 hour or so. The sky started clearing up and eventually the rain stopped. We proceeded to kidz world and Zac and i fed the goats. I tried feeding the goats a few times but i was so afraid. Zac is the brave one, he was so happy feeding them. After that we had a little splash time at the water play area. The water was cold but who cares, we had so much fun playing in it. Qi Qi didn't join in because she didn't want to. We spent a total of 7 hours in the zoo but we didn't cover much places due to the bad weather.

Good?

Daddy was telling mummy happily that i managed to give the thumb up sign for "good". However i am able to do it with my left hand only. My right hand will still have my thumb and index finger sticking out. Daddy was wondering if i will turn out to be left handed as even for drawing, i like to hold the pen with my left hand. Ha ha, grandpa was telling mummy today to train me to write with my right hand as that is supposed to be the "right" way!
Today is also Uncle Shuen's Guo Da Li day, his wedding will be held on 8th May which is only 2 weeks away.

Graffiti or Abstract Art?

Look at my "painting"! It's up on the wall next to the common toilet. Mummy heard some sounds of scribbling on a rough surface and before she could figure out where the sound came from my "painting" was up on the wall. After this episode, mummy make sure she will not leave any colour pencils or writing materials lying around the house. If not, my house will become an art gallery soon.

The sky is falling

The weather(north area) had been very predictable lately. It usually rains in the late afternoon for the current week and accompanied by lightning and thunders. There was 1 particular day last week where the thunders kept roaring continuously for a good 30 mins or so. It really frightened me. I am very afraid of sudden loud noises and will keep saying "pah pah" while patting myself on the chest. That night i actually had nightmares. Must be the thunder roars that frightened the shit out of me.

My Gymboree Apparels

These are the stuffs from Gymboree that mummy bought for me. Initially mummy only wanted to get a sunhat for me but since she needs to pay for shipping charges, she might as well order more stuffs for me. In the end she even roped in Shangjuan Yi Yi to spree together so they can share the shipping charges. In that way, both mummies will be happy to have nice clothes for their babies and Trevis and me will be happy to have new clothes to wear. : )

Dirty little gal

Mummy caught me playing with my saliva today. I made foamy saliva and it dripped onto my clothes making it wet. I turned a deaf ear to mummy's repeated warnings and this got her mad. She "rewarded" me with a scolding and a light slap on my cheek. oh well, i will try not to play with my saliva again.

I'm going to school

Mummy brought me to Kindercom Education Centre yesterday and she enrolled me for a 2 hour playgroup starting 1st of July 2010. Caris has graduated from Kindercom but Chloe is still attending classes there. Mummy brought me to the centre to see if i like the environment while the classes were still on. Chloe was paying attention to her teacher and she was so happy there. She kept smiling and waving to us through the glass windows. The teacher in charge Miss Yang gave me some toys and i happily played with it while mummy was filling up the registration form. The monthly fees is $140 and material fees for 6 months is $70. Mummy also bought me a set of the uniform at $15. As i am Caris and Chloe cousin, my registration fee was waived off. I am looking forward to start my school term and make many friends at Kindercom.

My Sunday

2nd time at the swing. I had to queue up for my turn. Too many children at the park on a sunday.

Sunday was a wet day. It was raining in the afternoon when we went to SSC New York New York for lunch. After that we had a quick trip to Giant supermarket to stock up on my milk powder before returning home. When the rain stopped, mummy asked daddy to bring me to Sembawang park. The park was pretty crowd and we had to park our car at a car park further away. We had to take a long walk to reach the playground n the jetty. On the way to the play ground, i started running while on a downward slope, before mummy could finish saying " Please don't run, you will fall", i took a tumble. I tripped, fell to my knees and as it was a downward slope i made a 360 degrees turn and landed on my right face. Daddy and mummy both witnessed the whole episode of me falling but they could not do anything to help me. Luckily my speed wasn't too fast and i fell quite lightly onto the ground thus my wounds weren't serious. I cried a bit but was back to normal after a short while. After that i went to play at the swing and after a walk to the jetty, we headed back home. After dinner, Xiao Yi and Yi Zhang came over to my place with Kady to take my "Yao Lan". Mummy decided to lend my yao lan to xiao yi as Kady needed it more than me. Although i still sleeps in Yao Lan (afternoons only) but i am easily adaptable, the bed will do just fine. Mummy helped to feed Kady milk and half way through the feed, she was crying so hard. I felt bad about her crying and went over to give her a hug and kissed her on her feet to hush her. Usually i get jealous whenever mummy holds another baby but today i wasn't so bad, i let mummy carry Kady for some time. Hope little Kady will be more obedient and don't cry so loud.
