My recent updates

  1. "Dog". That's what i will say whenever i saw a picture of the dog in my books or a real dog in my neighbourhood now. That's the 3rd animal i learned to say following fish and bird.
  2. I also learned to call Grandpa "Gong Gong" though it very much depends on my mood. Grandpa has been waiting to hear me call him for the longest time. Whenever he heard me calling "Ah Ma" loud and clear and many many times, he gets more jealous and hope i call him soon.
  3. I'm so fascinated with jumping and tried to jump. Sigh. I simply can't keep my legs off the ground and lift my heavy butt. Maybe some day i will. Soon....
  4. Dancing along to music. Hey that's really is fun and i like to bend my knees and go up and down.
  5. Clapping and smiling really wide when i heard mummy singing" if u are happy and u know u clap your hands" .....
  6. Sticking my fingers into my mouth very frequently. I like to feel the tooth that is sprouting out and i think the last 4 milk teeth will be out very soon.
  7. Winking and smiling without seeing my eyes when asked to smile at the camera.
  8. Telling mummy "Nei" when i'm so hungry and mummy didn't feed me automatically.
  9. Passing tins of CNY goodies to mummy and make noises to ask her to open so i can eat.
  10. Walking very fast and refusing to hold onto mummy/daddy's hand. Attempting to run at times. Loves to walk and walk and walk for very long.
  11. Cries and get jealous whenever my parents carry some one's kid/baby.
  12. Throw litter into the dustbin when instructed.

Having fun stacking the packet drinks with Ernest

This Chinese New Year is a much better one than the last because i get to play with lots of friends, i can walk everywhere i want to, i get to eat lots of food, i get to wear pretty clothes, i get to go out till late almost everyday and i get lots of red packets from relatives and friends. Last year, i could only watched but barely understood what was going on. It was a string of outings and events all through the festive period. We kicked started the Tiger Year with a reunion dinner with my grandparents, parents, uncle and aunt on the Eve of CNY at Beaulieu House at Sembawang Park. Then it was to my grandparents' house. On day 1 of CNY, we visited grandma at her house and met all my Ah Yis there. After that we visited Da Gu Po at her house and had our lunch there. Then we went to my great grand parents house and stayed for dinner. After dinner, we proceeded to Great Uncle house. On day 2 of CNY, i stayed at grandma place most of the time because our relatives came over to visit. On day 3 of CNY, we went to meet uncle Andy and Emily Yi yi at Thai express at Junction 8 before going to their place for some card games. Then it was to mummy's cousins' place in woodlands before we called it a day. I really enjoyed myself a lot with all the visitations to my relatives and friends' place.

Shopping for Valentine's Day & CNY

Today i went shopping at Orchard with mummy as mummy needed to get a Valentine's Day gift for daddy and also helped daddy with some last minute shopping for CNY clothes. We shopped at Takashimaya, Paragon, Tangs and Scotts Isetan from 1.30pm to 4.30 pm. I must say we did pretty well because we managed to get the things we wanted. Mummy bought a Gucci wallet for daddy and clothes from Levi's, Ecko and FCUK. I had been very obedient and co-operative throughout the shopping. I just slept in my carrier when i got tired. I enjoyed shopping with mummy.

Walk in the Park

At Sembawang Park with Caris and Chloe yesterday.

Enjoying walking alone and refusing mummy to hold my hand.

Finally, a little rest to enjoying the wind at the park. See my hair is so messy.

Walking at the jetty.

Ending the evening with some swinging at the playground. This was the first time i'm on the swing and i wasn't afraid at all. "Mummy, swing me higher."

To market to market...

Yawn!! Woke up at 7.40am this morning and happened to see daddy off to work. Then at 8 plus, i had a quick shower before going out with mummy to meet 3rd Ah Yi. They have planned to go to the wet market together to prepare food for tonight steamboat reunion dinner at Grandma's house.
We took a bus to the market and before we reach, i had fallen asleep in my beco carrier. Mummy and Ah yi were fighting their way through the crowd in the market and i still managed to sleep through out the whole ordeal. They got fresh prawns, vegetables, steamboat ingredients and breakfast within an hour. Mummy was so tired from carrying me and the stuffs and wanted to take a cab home but there was none in sight and we boarded the bus home instead. Luckily, an uncle gave up his seat for mummy and me. It's nice to see gracious Singaporeans and i want to be one too when i grow up.

Steamboat Dinner #1 2010

Jaqueline God Ma and me!

Us here again.

Oh no, caught in the act. Playing with mummy's diaper pouch.

The ladies and the girl at Timber, East Coast Park.

Today we went to Sharon God ma and Uncle Nelson's house for steamboat dinner. The dinner was supposed to be on 30th Jan but postponed to 31 Jan but finally materialized on 6th feb. Anyway it was really great hanging out with mummy's friends and of course my favourite god-mummies. The hosts have prepared lots of food and drinks for all of us. I had some rice and udon before running off and keeping myself busy. Mummy and daddy had to keep their eyes on me most of the time even while they are eating. I would climb onto the sofa, push the stool or try to open the gate with keys that i found. I didn't eat much rice but had some milk later in the evening. After the dinner, we went to East Coast Park (Timber) as suggested by Jacqueline God ma. Luckily Timber allowed patrons like me in. I was like the youngest person there. The adults were chilling out with drinks and music from the live band. I was there napping for the first half and waking up later to immerse in the cool atmosphere. I copied the other patrons by applauding after each performance by the live band. Clearly, i was enjoying myself there.

First Trip

I finally went out of Singapore last thursday. Actually it's just a very short trip to our neighbouring country Malaysia, Johor Bahru. I followed Da Yi, mummy and Caris to City Square to do some shopping. We took a bus ride from Woodlands Bus Interchange to the Malaysian customs and from the customs, we walked over to City Square. We had a late lunch at Seasons Restaurant and after that we did a very quick shopping for like an hour before proceeding back home.
